Severus Snape
Severus Snape was made Head of Slytherin at the remarkably young age of twenty-one when he only just returned to Hogwarts. It may be that he was the only teacher who was in Slytherin, following the retirement of Horace Slughorn in 1981.

Dormitory
The Slytherin dormitory is located in the dungeon at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The boys' dorms are located through a hallway on the left side of the grand staircase, while the girls' dorms are located up the stairs through a hallway on the right side of the grand staircase.The dormitory consists of many dorm rooms with 5 beds each. Dorm rooms were generally shared by up to five people.

Common Room
The Slytherin common room is located at the bottom of the Grand Staircase in the dungeon. The common room is designed to feel like a Gothic-influenced religious hall. It has several shades of green and a green tint from the Great Lake. The common room is located behind a bare stretch of wall and requires a password for entrance. The password is "Pure-Blood". The common room is a long, low underground room with rough stone walls and ceiling. It has a Gothic feel with drab colors, stone walls, and green lighting.

Dolores Umbridge
She was a British Ministry of Magic bureaucrat who served as Senior Undersecretary to the Minister for Magic under Ministers Cornelius Fudge, and Rufus Scrimgeour. In 1995 by order of the Ministry, she was installed as the Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor at Hogwarts and then later the Hogwarts High Inquisitor and finally Headmistress. She has enormous power over the students, teacher, and the curriculum, which she wielded despotically. Her time at Hogwarts was characterized by her cruelty and abusive punishments against students.

Albus Severus Potter
He is he middle child and second son of Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley. He is named after two Hogwarts headteachers: Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape. He is the younger brother of James Sirius Potter and the older brother of Lily Luna Potter. Albus is ambitious and can accomplish almost impossible tasks. He was born around 2006 and attended Hogwarts with his cousin Rose Granger-Weasley. Albus was not sorted into Gryffindor, which shocked him and his fellow students.

He was killed by Lord Voldemort and his snake, Nagini. Snape is a mysterious and unforgiving figure. He favors Slytherin Students and discriminates against Gryffindor, especially Harry and his friends. He is hostile to Harry because he resembles his father, James Potter, who bullied Snape at Hogwarts.

Bloody Baron
The Bloody Baron is a ghost from Slytherin's house in Harry Potter. He is described as a gaunt, silent, and pale specter with wide, black eyes. The Baron is covered in silver bloodstains, which are a clue to his death and the crimes that led to it. The Baron was sent by Rowena Ravenclaw to find her runaway daughter, Helena. When Helena refused to return home with him, he murdered her. The Baron is known for his rages in the Astronomy Tower and the sound of his chains. The bloody Baron is a wizard who attended Hogwarts of Witcraft and Wizardry in the 11th Century.
House Animal
The snake is the symbol of Slytherin House at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The snake represents resourcefulness and ambition. The snake also symbolizes rebirth and renewal because snakes shed their skin. The snake is associated with Slytherin because the founder of the house, Salazar Slytherin, was a Parselmouth. Parselmouth are wizards with the rare ability to communicate with snakes. The snake appears in many places throughout Hogwarts, including the doorknocker of number twelve, Grimmauld Place.
House History
Salazar Slytherin founded the house in 993 A.D. Slytherin emblematic animal is the serpent, and its house colors are emerald green and silver. Salazar had an affinity with snakes. Slytherin’s poor reputation comes from Salazar’s anit-Muggle stance and belief that Hogwarts should be for pure-blood students only. Many of the witches and wizards of this house become death eaters during the time of Voldemort’s (The Dark Lord) uprising. Many Slytherin students tended to clique together often acquiring leaders which further exemplified Slytherin’s ambitious qualities. Examples of these included: Draco Malfoy’s Gang, Pansy Parkinson Gang, Tom Riddle’s gang (Which later became the Death Eaters.)

Female Uniform
Female Hogwarts students wear knee-length skirts and long gray socks with black dress shoes. They also wear a white button-up shirt, a vest with colors according to their house, robes, a tie, and a hat.

Male Uniform
The Hogwarts uniform consists of plain black robes, a white collared shirt, and a striped necktie. Each house has its own distinct color combination for its necktie. Slytherin colors are green and white.

Quidditch
Slytherin won almost every Quidditch match against other houses, except against Gryffindor. They lost to Hufflepuff in their sixth year when Draco stopped playing. The Slytherin team's uniforms were green and silver, the colors of their house. Beaters also carried small black clubs to block Bludgers. Keepers wore gloves.
